From DAVIDsTEA

We are big fans of coconuts around here – they might just be the coolest food on the planet. For one thing, they’ve been around since prehistoric times, making them one of the oldest plants you can find. Plus they have so many amazing applications, it’s no wonder people in Malaysia call the coconut palm “The Tree of a Thousand Uses.” But as far as we’re concerned, the number one reason to love them is this delicious coconut and oolong blend. Creamy, rich, sweet and fresh, it’s satisfying, comforting and completely addictive. Take it from us: you’ll go nuts for it.

This is my favourite David’s Tea ever (for the one that I have sampled anyway!). It’s coconut-y, sweet, creamy and light, I simply love it. I reach for it often. It reminds me in a way of the Milk oolong, it has the same creamy-ness to it, which I love.

If you are a coconut lover, this one is a winner. I would love to try it in a latte with coconut milk and emulsified coconut oil. I haven’t tried that yet but I’m looking forward to it.

Okay, so I may be a little bit biased, seeing as how coconut is one of my favourite flavours. But this tea is just amazing, and incredibly soothing. It’s very light and awesome regardless of how you serve it, although personally I find it tastes better hot. I can appreciate that it has an earthier, almost grassy quality to it that some people may not enjoy… Which is fine; that means more for me!

Ok, if you are a coconut lover…BAM! Get ready for some intense coconut flavor. It does taste somewhat artificial, but I still love it! Be careful not to over-steep, because if you do, it ends up tasting like pop corn for some reason.
