From Butiki Teas

A warm spicy floral pear aroma characterizes this smooth white tea. Organic Bai Mu Dan sourced from mountains of the Fujian province in China is paired with bold star anise for an exotic essence. The spicy and floral notes give way to subtle pear notes that linger. Add a touch of sugar to intensify the pear flavor.

Recommended Brew Time: 3 minutes 30 seconds
Recommended Amount: 1 teaspoons of tea for 8oz of water
Recommended Temperature: 180 F

This is another free sample like the other one was. From butikiteas.com thank you very much. this has dried pear with yellow flowers and green tea. The smells like pear with green tea. this has a light/medium pear taste with a pleasant green tea. And is a pretty good tea.

Sipdown #3! I got Exotic Pear as a sample from Butiki Teas, and I quite enjoy this one. Fruity and floral are two of my buttons, and this tea hits them both in the right way. Neither one to me is overpowering the white tea, I still get a fair “tea” taste. The floral and vegetal notes to me are stronger than the pear note. I wouldn’t call it juicy pear, like others have, I don’t get that strong a pear hit. I’d call it more “hint of pear”.

So far, most of what I’ve tried from Butiki I’ve really, really enjoyed. I think I’m going to be a dedicated customer. I can’t wait to try more of their teas.

After 3 straight days of drinking Bravissimo due to a sore throat, I decided that it was time for something different. I wanted to try one of my new guayusas, but it’s too late for that much caffeine, so I decided that Exotic Pear should be next.

I found it hard to judge the proper amt of tea to use due to the flowers in the mix, but I think I used enough. It ends up being a very delicately flavoured tea. I added some sugar to bring out the flavour, as is suggested, but I think the sugar overwhelmed it instead. I don’t taste pear at all.

Overall, not a bad tea, but not a great one, either. I might mix this with something else in the future.

This is another free sample that I was so fortunate to try. This is really light and smells like pears but with floral undertones. I put it in my steeping cup(didn’t seem like there would be enough to make a cup, the leaves and flowers are pretty big) it was really pretty!

After the steep I could smell the warm pear and the florals. It tastes just like it smells, it was really smooth and pretty juicy but the end notes definitely were floral. I really enjoyed this and would have liked to try this ice because I think it would really bring out the pear even more!
