Backlog from a few days ago.

This was the very first oolong tea I ever tried, and as a result I’m somewhat sentimental towards it. I’ve had other oolongs then, which have been kind of hit or miss, but this one is still pretty ok. I think it’s on the greener end of the spectrum, but still somewhat roasted.

I had about 3 steeps of this, and the third steep was the most floral/astringent and least coconutty. I liked the first steep the best.

Many thanks to Christina for my sample!!
This was quite delish. I underleafed a little because oolong can be a little heavy for me sometimes and I was so in the mood for something a tad lighter.
And it turned out great. I enjoyed the light coconut flavour, but it didn’t overtake the oolong notes either. Rather perfect for my mood!
I really like the crispness, and the slight floral aftertaste. Yummmm!
My only concern is that it wasn’t as smooth as I would prefer, so I ended up not steeping a second time.
