I have not had the best of luck with the Art of Tea samples I bought back in November. Granted it also didn’t help it took them weeks to bother to send. This is the first of them that I have actually liked and I only have one left to try…
I didn’t think the jasmine was overpowering at all in this. Granted all the other notes for this are years old so maybe Art of Tea got the balance right finally. I’ve also had it for 4 1/2 months at this point. It’s a nice mix of fruit and floral, I think the blueberry was quite a bit stronger though with jasmine notes following.

I could sit here and sniff this tea all day, but that wouldn’t be a very good review. The blueberry pieces are huge in this blend, understanding why it smells so deliciously berry and jasmine. The taste is of sweet blueberry and jasmine, a very very strong jasmine. It leaves a taste on my mouth similar to getting sprayed in the face with perfume/hairspray/air freshner that just is not pleasant. I love the initial taste of the blueberries, but the jasmine really throws one for a loop.
I wonder if this could be tamed by blending with another tea? Or an herbal berry blend? I really really wanted to love this one!
It got a little better when it cooled off, the jasmine wasn’t so much a perfume…or maybe my mouth built up a tolerance to it?
ARG, my tea package had incorrect steeping instructions! Kind of suck when I only have a 2-3 cup sample size, so there wasn’t much room to experiment to help out fellow tea peeps who are interested in this tea.
The tea was so bitter and undrinkable at 185F for 5 minutes, I dumped the steeping instructions completely. I steeped another round at 175F for 2 minutes and I found this tea too bitter for my tastes. The green tea was quite savory and bitter like dandelion greens. The jasmine? Pretty good. The blueberry aftertaste? Very tasty! Oh poo, what a dilemma!

It smells amazing. I haven’t even brewed it yet, just sniffing the dry leaf – and the blueberry and the jasmine really come together so beautifully in this blend. I’ve tried blueberry jasmine blends before, but, I don’t think I’ve tried this one yet. So, I look forward to trying it!
The green tea is light with a fresh, somewhat vegetable-like flavor and a bitter note toward the middle of the sip. Not an off-putting bitter, but a savory one. The blueberry is the strongest flavor here, but the jasmine has added her distinctive sweetness to the cup as well. A nicely balanced cup. I like it very much

I love the smell of this tea. Very blueberry with a hint of Jasmine.
Blueberry is the first flavor tasted, and then the jasmine hits you. It’s cloyingly jasmine. If you really like jasmine, this one’s for you. If you don’t like jasmine, this is one you’ll want to avoid.
