In the tin, it smells like cinnamon candies. I don’t really want that sort of spiciness in my tea, so I was hesitant to try this. But reviews on the Adagio website say that it’s much milder than it smells, so I gave it a go. They were right. The taste is very mild, and it smells like the cinnamon- & nutmeg-spiced muffins I baked last night. I’m not much of a chai fan, but this is pretty good. (What can I say? I’m a sucker for Adagio’s Irish Breakfast.)
