From A Quarter to Tea

A showcase blend featuring teas from the birthplace of the Buddha. Light with lots of character with the staple muscatel notes of the region. Definitely a blend to try and find out why it’s simply the best!

This was a sample I received from AQ2T with another order. It’s obviously a few years old since the company is no longer in business, so I expect the flavor won’t be quite as strong as it once was.

It is slightly floral, slightly astringent. Still flavorful, surprisingly enough. It’s not one I would order even if I had the opportunity but it’s nice to try as a sample.

I’m not super into floral teas, so when I got this sample with my order I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. A few sips in and I’m pleasantly surprised! It has a bit of the floral rose notes, but has a sweet earthiness behind it. The finish is long and goes from a puerh like hint and then transitions into rose which lingers a while and has a slight fresh rose petal quality to it. Adding cream brings out a malty flavor with cocoa and the rose takes a back seat. This is a really interesting tea that I wouldn’t mind having a cup of every so often!

Sounds nice! I have enjoyed the two or three teas I have tried from here.
