Tea of the Week for October 5, 2020!

The First Tea of our Trick Or Treat Theme for October 2020!

This deliciously fruity blend starts with a black tea base (Assam, Ceylon & Yunnan) & is combined with an assortment of fruit flavors, including Raspberry, Mango, Strawberry & Orange.

I wasn’t trying to make it too sweet or candy-ish, because I prefer my teas to not be overly sweet. I figure, if you want a sweeter tea, you can add a bitRead more

Another one I guess I’d missed reviewing. I have enjoyed it previously and again now – it’s a vibrant mix of fruity flavours, punctuated with lovely orange, but none of the flavours are overly strong. It also tastes “sweet” and pop-like (to me), though I’m pretty sure there’s no sweetener in here. A tea I wish I had a bit more of!

It’s been a long time since I posted on here, but I am still drinking tea, I promise!

I made a jug of this in the fridge overnight. I had had a cup of it hot a couple of months ago, and it was nice, but not outstanding. But I really enjoyed it iced. It has a light, slightly sweet, bright vibe to it. Our weather has been all over the place. Upper 80s, then a couple nights below freezing, then back up to the 80s… Ya gotta love North Dakota! Fortunately, I an adjust my tea temperature to suit the weather. I really liked this one iced and I am looking forward to enjoying more iced teas this summer.

Almost done this one and in part i’m happy for the sipdowns since variaTEA has me going a little order crazy. I can delay picking up tea from her for a bit given the lockdown etc…but at some point i need to recue my teas and bunny AND drop off her box. lol

Sipdown!

I’m trying to sip down last month’s subscription teas before I let myself try the new ones… I already have a ridiculously overfull cupboard (and it’s extra exploded with holiday teas now), so I’d rather drink these little babies as they come in and not have them hanging around and piling up. XD

Anyway, this was my favorite of the bunch for October. It has such a lovely fruity hard candy flavor, with orange, strawberry, and raspberry specifically. The base is smooth and mellow, slightly malty with a hint of bread. It forms a good foundation but lets the flavors shine.

It brings back nice memories of my grandma’s apartment and her crystal candy dish with those cute little bumpy raspberries. Thanks, Anne, for a yummy tea!

I love the Haribo gummy ones with the little crunchy sugar bits all over the outside!

Greatly enjoyed sipping on this yesterday at work. I love how colorful the blend is, with the assortment of dried fruits.
It’s definitely a cornucopia of fruits, with orange and strawberry being the most prominent.
