I’m not generally a herbal tea fan, but I found this interesting. The apple and it’s friend cinnamon dominate. But the right amount of chamomile and clove (and other spces, tame the wild horses. It’s a mild apple cinnamon and very tasty. This is a good cupa for a cold winter morning. I

This tea is a love it or hate it kind of tea. That’s because it is what it is a French vanilla dominate taste. The smell hits first and lets you know it’s all about vanilla. You can really work with this tea. It can be yummy with cream and sugar. During the holidays this is a super dessert tea. I put sugar and a dab of whipped cream in it. If you want to go over the top do the sugar, whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate bakery sprinkles. It’s yumm.

this tea had a great smell when I first opened it. However, the taste was muted. It really surprised me that it was so bland. Bit I didn’t hate it and I wanted the effects of the ginger and probiotics, so I blended it with some black tea. It snapped into place and my second cup was quite good. Although, it’s not a stand alone, I will be adding this to my cupboard.

This tea has an exotic combination of ingredients. When I first opened the foiled package the aroma was delightful. The cocoa dominated and yet there was a spirited tangy smell accompanying it.

I poured the boiled water over the tea bag and let it steep 4 min. as suggested on the box. Sadly, I was disappointed

The first sip told me this tea was not up to the task assigned to it on the box. I tasted watered down. The cocoa was barely there, almost as if a cocoa leaf was waved over the hot water. The pepper barely lingered in the background and the other flower ingredients didn’t make it on stage.

Maybe it’s me and maybe I expected too much, but this tea won’t make it into my cupboard.

With the temperature at 31 degrees this morning and the clouds hanging low, it looked like snow would be falling here in the Sierra mountains. So I reached into the tea cupboard to get a robust and aromatic tea. This tea fills the bill. When you open the bag, the unique aroma of this Indian tea reflects a mixture of scents.

Its taste is of a combination of Assam and black teas. It’s a smooth scented tee and delicious with a dash of cream. I enjoyed this tea for one of the first cold mornings of the fall.

This is not “My cup of tea.” It surprised me in that I tasted a slight bitterness that I did not expect. The mints seemed to overwhelm and the cocoa lingered in the background. It is not something I would reach for.

It was 48 degrees this morning and it got me into the spirit of the coming fall. So, I made myself a cup of Vanilla Chai tea by Bigelow. It was yummy. I Love the smell of it. It’s got plenty of spice to wake up the mouth, but not overpowering. I added a bit of sugar and because it is a little weak on cream I added a bit of cream. It was smooth. I like the vanilla hanging in the background adding just enough flavor to mellow out the spices.

Every two weeks I meet my friend at Starbuck’s to catch up and chat. Keeping our friendship tuned up. We both order Awake in a vente cup. I let it steep 7 min. add cream and just a hint of sugar. It’s mild with a balance of Ceylon and black teas. It’s much like a English Breakfast and I would say I enjoy it very much.
