21 Tasting Notes
Found this lurking in the back of the cupboard…thankful. Peppermint helps me concentrate so it’s the perfect herbal to have on hand while I study for a major exam. Not much to say, it’s peppermint (but organic so added plus). But good, even surprisingly, for coming in bagged form, really good.
For some reason, the first time I had this tea, it reminded me of Adagio’s Scorpio tea…which doesn’t make a lot of sense because that tea has a rooibos base and mango flavor in addition to the chocolate. On my first few cups of this, I thought I preferred Adagio. But the more I drink this one, the more I really like it, and the Adagio comparison seems to diminish.
It has some of my favorite notes in teas (e.g. vanilla) and I like the slightly spicy aroma. It’s a good dessert tea for blah days when I’m in need of something special. I didn’t buy too much of it because I hadn’t sampled it before buying, but I’m working my way through my 2 oz. pretty quickly and will have to decide soon if I’m going to buy more as a standby.
