What a strange tea. If I hadn’t looked at the description, I would’ve said this is a nondescript floral. I don’t know where on earth the candied chestnut or the maple syrup are. It’s not terrible, it’s just utterly odd.

you need to steep this one very little time (2 minutes max) to get the candied chestnut otherwise it is bitter

yes because it’s not a bad tea really just maybe the reproach I can do is an over-use of essential oil which gives a perfume-y taste

I’m based in France for now, hence the overwhelming amounts of French teas I seem to accumulate. I like flavoured black tea the best and gourmand flavours seem to be all I look for. Dessert teas with nuts, chocolate, honey, vanilla. I also enjoy a good spicy tea (the hotter the better) and straight florals (especially rose).
