Vibrant gold color. Steeped leaves are very vegetal. Tea gives off strong oyster notes. Tastes full bodied, thick, creamy, very salty and fishy (oysters). Astringent aftertaste.
Second steep is more balanced. Minerality balances saltiness and oyster taste of first steep. Mouth puckering body.
Flavors: Fishy, Salty
Not Recommended
Dry leaves give off heavy chocolate and caramel notes. Steeped leaves give off strong notes of steamed green vegatables and that’s it. Flavor is weak, fairly vegetal and light but nothing stands out. Second steeping is almost tasteless.
