New Tasting Notes

Another German tea. The description reads:

“Rotbushteemischung mit Orangen-Zimt-Marzipan-Aroma.”

This roughly translates to “Red bush tea mixed with orange, cinnamon, and marzipan flavor.”

It is delightful!

Great on cold late-winter days with a generous scoop, plenty of whole milk, and brown sugar. Warms the hands and the tummy.

Nice bottled tea. Not too sweet, and uses real cane sugar, yum.

Yummy cinnamon spice flavors with the strong kick of mate. Good alternative to coffee when I need an extra jolt.

This is the last bag I have…I will miss it…until I locate some more…Great cuppa!

A calm and soothing flavor. Very delicate green tea and apricot flavor. I would prefer the taste to come through a little more forcefully, but the subtlety is nice and relaxing.

Another favorite. If you like fruit and are still looking for caffeine in the morning, this is a great choice.

Wonderful Aroma! Nice taste. Dark Color. Comforting going down.

I am all about finding the best teas on a budget – and this is cheap but surprisingly mellow and savory, especially if you “over steep” it. Good cold too and smells absolutely lovely. Definitely a “recession delight”….!

After a morning workout, there is nothing on earth that’s better.

One of my favorite blends for breakfast. Very toasty and warming.

Always good when I’m fighting a cold.

This is a fairly strong Green Tea with a typical Green Tea scent and color. One. Nice. Cup.

HAD to have another cup…inhale…exhale…so refreshing…it’s like Yoga in a cup!

I’m a Mint-Freak! If you are, too, this is the Tea for YOU! Everything about it is a real eye opener! The smell, the taste, the color…all fantastic! I absolutely LOVE it! Totally intense!

Pleasantly surprised. Wasn’t as overwhelmingly fruity as the aroma might lead you to expect.

This is the last of my stash of this tea…bummer…oh well…drink it up and on to the next!

This is a German bagged tea my best friend gave me. I’m not sure what’s in it, but it is delicious. Easily one of my new top favorites. I’ll be paying her to ship me boxes of it from Germany when she goes back.

195F, 2-3 min (somewhere thereabouts). Very light and soft. Made a nice sized pot for two. :)

This is one of my favorites when it comes to oolong. The grapefruit flavor helps to tone down the brisk smoky oolong flavor, which can be overpowering on its own. Grapefruit oolong is a great introductory oolong.
