I’ll admit I chose Cinci for our anniversary weekend in large part because it had a tea house. I was not disappointed. We stopped in for tea Saturday afternoon and had a very friendly server that helped me use a gaiwan for the first time with the Rou Gui I selected and husband had a very smooth cup of Keemun. We then made reservations for Sunday’s European Tea where I got to use a yixing pot for a fantastic Tung Ting (husband had Irish Breakfast). It was a very busy and happening place, but the staff were attentive and knowledgable. So great to see a place like this thrive!

This place has a quite a large selection. I am just getting into the realm of Tea, and they were very helpful and willing to give suggestions and offer up some tea knowledge. Definitely a place I shall be going back to.

Very wide range of teas available to sip in-house or to purchase. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and the food is very good.

Essencha’s you want to find in your neighborhood… wide selection, knowing staff, hip mod-Asian decor. Perfect mix of mood & pleasure. Last time I went there it was (not quite) empty, so just me and the pot watching life go by. Just the thing for a lazy afternoon…

Essencha is my “regular” tea house. The staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to help. Love this place.
