I was so excited to find out that a new tea room opened only minutes from my house! I of course had to try it out ASAP! When I finally was able to visit Tea With Thee by Victoria, I was pleasantly surprised! It is located in a strip mall, so I was not expecting much from the decor, but when I walked inside I was completely floored! The restaurant looked like it should belong in a beautiful old house. The restaurant was exceedingly elegant with its chandeliers and fine table settings. It was then that I saw the tea menu. For some reason, the tea menu on the table only had about ten teas on it. There are about 50 teas behind the counter though, so I am sure that you could ask for a pot of any of those. I tried the southern pecan tea and it was wonderful! It was very sweet and smooth. My mother is not a fan of hot tea (heaven forbid!) so she got the iced passion berry tea, and she loved it! My mother and I opted for lunch instead of high tea or cream tea, and I got the chicken bruchetta panini and my mother got the velvet chicken soup. THE FOOD WAS WONDERFUL! We then split the Assorted desert tray that had a sample of the chocolate cake, the angle’s cloud, which was a whipped cream based desert, a sample of a strawberry pretzel dessert, and two of their mini muffins, which are a house specialty. All of the food was wonderful!! The owner was fabulous as well! She was thrilled when she heard that I loved tea and we had a full conversation about the effect of tea on the community and those sort of things. She then gave me several samples of tea they offer there. It was an amazing experience. I will definitely be going back!
