Great selection of their own loose leaf tea and other brands. They’re nestled into Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market and well worth a visit. I go there to refill my stash of Barnes and Watson’s Star Spangled Banner herbal tea.
Great tea room in Seattle with friendly staff. I really enjoyed a cup of their milk oolong. I also purchased quite a bit of their loose leaf tea as well as a few tins of Harney & Sons. I highly recommend visiting this shop!
Pike Place Market. This place is very friendly and has a variety of tea selections. If you ask, they’ll bring down the tea of choice for you to waft so you can get the fragrance and based on your preferences offer recommendations for you. In addition there is a tea of the day you can sample. :) If I remember correctly you can buy by 4 or 8 oz or by the pound.
Cute store packed with teas and teaware. Several puerh cakes on display and for sale, which is not something I often see. None of their teas are proprietary – they resell for lots of other companies including Silk Road & Harney. A nice staff and their cups of tea are large!
I stumbled across this shop while visiting Seattle for work. It’s a very cute little store that is basically divided into two sections: 1) a tea-themed gift shop with samplers, teaware, books, etc; and 2) loose tea. I was quite pleased to find some locally-produced tea to bring back to the office, and got some nicer loose tea for myself.
Great place for teas from all around the world. They distribute lots of Silk Road teas, but also have a few fair trade vendors. If you like flavorful tisanes, this is a great place to go. Oolong fans, get the milk oolong. Black tea people, try their “honey tea”. They have a great white peony and high quality greens. The staff are also knowledgeable.
Small shop, but they have the most wonderful teas and tea accessories. If you like fruity tisanes, try the grapefruit/orange tea or the cranberry/orange :)
The Perennial Tea Room is in the Post Alley right by the Pike Place Market, and has a good selection. They have lots of great teaware, and they offer a tea sample of the day. Perennial Tea shop is also located next to some fabulous restaurants and other stores.
