Fantastic staff! They were very sweet and very helpful. I ordered a few teas then asked the lady to help me pick out some others and she was so thrilled to suggest a desert tea and even more when I said I would take it. They expanded their wares a bit and have some teapots from FORLIFE and some that are similar to the teapots on Adagio Teas. I love the little sniffer tins they have throughout the store and the free samples. Plus a dollar or two for a cup of tea is pretty sweet as well!

One of the few places in the Fox Valley to get good tea. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful without being pushy. Very limited accessories though.

With their large inventory and well-staffed store, Fava Tea Co. is a relaxing, laid-back place to go and buy some awesome fresh tea. You walk in and are welcomed, and they ask if they can help you, but if you indicate you’re fine on your own, you’re left to wander and sniff teas as long as you feel like. There are mini-testers for each tea so you can see and smell the leaf without having to ask for help. You can pick up a small leaflet that has all the names of the teas on it, and write down how many oz. of each one you want. You can purchase as little as one ounce if it’s something you just want to try! If you’re in the area, I think Fava Tea Co. is a must see.

Pretty spiffy place. The tea is exceptionally priced, clearly labeled, and some really nice staff. They know what they’re talking about too, they don’t just recommend the most expensive tea they have, and usually one of the ladies there is pretty hyped up on caffeine, so it’s pretty easy to take her seriously in the tea department. And it’s kinda funny.

They’ll give you a card, you can bring it back the next time you come and get a good cup of tea for 50 cents, so you can drink tea WHILE you shop for tea. It’s that ridiculous. Normally, it’s a dollar, and that’s still pretty spectacular.

However, not a lot of teaware, at all. They sell some plastic teapots that work well, and some tins, but that’s about it.
