4 Tasting Notes
This smells wonderful. I can’t fully describe the scent, but the dried leaves smelled kind of sweet and orange-y. I wouldn’t say it reminded me of a cookie. Once steeped, the tea smells more mellow – less sweet, but now with a hint of cinnamon.
The taste is lovely. It’s a good balance of spice from the orange peel, cardamom, cloves and then there’s a lightness to it that prevents the flavors from overwhelming you.
Preparation
The tea smells good, although it reminds me of an artificially flavored chocolate. I’m still a tea-tasting novice, so I can’t add much. The flavors do combine smoothly, though I’m not sure how the tea can be “creamy” as others have described.
I can’t taste the chocolate or coconut that makes up this tea, but there are definitely essences of sweetness.
