I know folks who live on this tea who are also fond of this brand’s vanilla tea. Emphasis is on the fruity soft flavor, the ginger is not assertive as you might find in some spicy cuisines.
Nice well-rounded rooibos blend, the spices support the mild rooibos flavor instead of stomping on it. To my palate, you can taste the connamon but it is not overdone. Unless you’ve had straight rooibos, you won’t recognize quite what herb you’re tasting.
Very vanilla-y. I know folks who live on this tea because they adore vanilla, it can be almost a maple syrup aroma when sweetened. I like it now and then as a break from other teas. Recommended to those who adore that flavor.
Really nice with milk and sweetener. The black tea component gets strong before the cardamom and pepper and other spices are just coming into their own. Can be bitter/acidic if left brewing too long.
Good strong black tea suited to adding milk and sugar. IMHO, a bit harsh for plain drinking unless diluted. Works well for iced tea, and works well when you add slices of orange or lemon to the iced tea.
First brewing is strong-colored and good strong bergamot flavor. Great tea for Southern-style iced tea. I use sweetening powder derived from the herb Stevia to sweeten it, rather than sugar, but it works well with both.
