4 Tasting Notes
My all time favorite tea. The flavor is just perfect. As someone who doesn’t use sugar or milk in my teas, I can’t ask for a better blend of seasonings. It’s refreshing, lemon-y, and has cat nip in it…Apparently cat nip has the opposite effect on humans as it does on cats – who knew? If you hate licorice, do not drink this as it does have a slight licorice flavor. Also subtle peppermint.
This tea also is incredibly relaxing…so much so, that I cannot have it at work unless I don’t mind dozing off!
Flavors: Cinnamon, Lemongrass, Licorice, Peppermint, Smooth, Tart
Preparation
One of my favorite teas. The perfectly tart cranberry blends smoothly with the strong fennel flavor. This is one of those stand-alone teas, with strong flavors, which I appreciate as I don’t use sugar or milk with any of my teas.
I can honestly say that I also feel less bloated after drinking this. I’m sure not everyone will feel the difference, and perhaps it’s a placebo effect, but since I love the flavor so much, I can’t complain! It’s just an added bonus to feel firmer.
Flavors: Cranberry, Fennel, Lemon
Preparation
I’m not sure if I got a bad batch, but this was not nearly as minty as I was hoping. I bought this because the box made it seem as if it would be the strongest mint flavor. It boasts of being “double mint,” so I was very disappointed when I tried it and it was even less minty than the typical mint tea. “Magic Mint” by Celestial Seasonings is still the mintiest tea I own. I was hoping this one would be even mintier, and really wanted the spearmint to come out in it as well. I would recommend this tea to anyone who likes a regular mint flavor, but if you’re looking for “altoid-level” mint, skip it.
