Bravissimo is a tea that is specially made to help soothe sore throats. I was at my friend’s house, and her whole household is in love with this tea. They drink it even when they don’t have a sore throat! So I decided to give it a try while I was there.
The first few sips were really nice. Then it got quite sickening. It is extremely sweet and leaves a soothing feeling at the back of your throat, just like honey does. I’m not too sure which ingredient(s) does this, but I think it has something to do with the licorice root or chamomile or peppermint. Mostly, I can taste the chamomile in the tea, with a lot of sweetness and a floral hint. There is a bit of mint in the aftertaste.
Overall, I would definitely say that this is a fantastic tea, but only if you have a sore throat; otherwise, it can get a really sickening.
