drank Kaimosi CTC by Harney & Sons

What an odd-looking tea! It’s the first time I come across a CTC. Well, I’ve probably drank many CTC before without knowing since it’s apparently common for supermarkets tea bags to be CTC. Oooohh mamma mía, this is strong! Maybe I used too much tea or steeped it for too long. The strenght is not only felt with my tastebuds but on my whole body. After drinking half of my cup, my hands were shaking and my heart was pounding. I’ll have to be careful next time.

Definitely don’t steep the CTCs as long. On the plus side they resteep really well.

Harney & Sons The Store

Certainly a potent tea! I’m glad you enjoyed it.

I’m a curious person, I always love to discover new things, new teas, new brands.

I’ve tried several things from David’s Tea as it is the most accessible tea store in Montréal and that there is no minimum amount when buying in bulk. I’ve also tried a few teas from Camellia Sinensis and Kusmi, but their minimum amount makes me try less things.

I would really like to try new brands, especially French brands such as Mariage Frères, Dammann Frères, le Palais des thés and Fauchon. There’s also a lovely tea store in Québec city called «Monsieur T» that I would like to try.
