(This was at least 2 years ago.)I’ve only been to the British Pantry once, but I enjoyed it immensely. It took me forever to drive from Oak Park, Michigan to Tecumseh, and they had just ended lunch but luckily the waitress took pity on me when I said that lunch was what I came in for, and if I hadn’t gotten lost I would of been there earlier. So I got the Cream of Asparagus soup…OMG it was so good. I’m a huge fan of Cream of soups and of asparagus! The tea I had I think was a blood orange and it wasn’t that great. I also had scones and they were pretty good. Now that I live a little bit closer to Tecumseh, I plan on going back very soon.
2016 update: I’ve been back to British Pantry quite a few times since my 1st time and I love it every time. The prices for lunch are a bit $$, but I don’t mind indulging myself every now and then. The tea they serve as well as sell is good, and fair priced. The wait staff is very polite, accommodating and as prompt as they can…(Which during the lunch hour is a bit hard to do!) The Food is also pretty good.
