12 Tasting Notes
Delicious, thick and smoky, very smoky. I enjoyed it very much, and it has that uplifting and at the same time calming effect that I only get from blacks. It´s such a different experience for me as I am a mostly Pu erh drinker. Love it and it won´t last long!! cheers!!
Flavors: Fruity, Smoke, Sweet
Preparation
This tea is something special, its flavor is rich, woody with hints of caramel. I was kind of disappointed with its longevity, Around the 8th steep it started dying. Qi is quite heavy, relaxing and powerful, I may have pushed it too far cause at the end of the session I felt a little jittery but that may be my fault. I went on a two month young sheng binge and my stomach made me pay for it, so I went three and a half weeks with absolutely no tea and I think I’m feeling jiterry because I completely reset my caffeine tolerance. Anyways, I greatly enjoyed this beautiful tea.
Cheers!!!
Flavors: Caramel, Earth, Wood
Preparation
Sweet, smooth, vegetal flavor, easy on the stomach. Heavy drowsing Qi, feel it in my shoulders, neck and back of the head. Very relaxing and fun to drink, Qi and flavors kept me interested the whole session, this tea literally made my eyelids drop and my head spin in a nice way. LOVE IT!!!
Preparation
Beautiful tea, nice leaves, taste starts a bit bitter even with flash steeps, then it turns sweet and stays like that until the last steep. Strong Qi, kind of agressive if pushed too far, long lasting body feels, Qi is on the speedy side, alert and relaxing sensations. I wouldn’t recommend it to beginners. I think this tea is high on caffeine, I feel some jitters after drinking a lot of it.
Preparation
This is a nice young sheng, smooth vegetal flavor, I also noticed some very pleasant sweetness in it. I felt a long lasting mellow Qi, I was not expecting mellow from this tea because of its age and I was very pleased with the body and mind calming, meditative effects. 3 hours from the first sip I still feel nice and relaxed.
