its not a strong mint flavour but has a mint after taste going down. I needed to steep it for a long time before I could get any real flavour. Once you cool it down you don’t need to add any sugar.
I would recommend this iced though, even using it as a based for a fruit smoothie. It really taste great with mangos and strawberries.
Preparation
I find that I would drink this tea more for being sick rather than a preferred beverage. The lemon flavour wasn’t as fresh as I though it would take on a bitter taste really quick. the flavour reminded me more of the bitter rind of the lemon than the citrus goodness I was hoping for.
regardless ,a little honey and squirt of fresh lemon really perked it up.

Its not a strong chai like some would find in other brands, but it was pretty good. I let the tea brew longer than recommended to give it a fuller body and added milk and sugar.
I would recommend this to someone who isn’t a fan of pungent chai teas but would like something different that the traditional orange peoke.

This was my first attempt of a chocolate flavoured tea. I was sceptical at first because I always associated chocolate beverages to be thick and creamy and was unsure if I would like the texture and taste of chocolate in a tea form.
to be honest, I don’t know what this taste like. It wasn’t chocolate, and defiantly wasn’t chai. Its tasted like the bottom of a hot chocolate with the chalky powder on the bottom and someone stuck a cinnamon stick in it. it was not pleasant and I wouldn’t punish anyone with this tea.
my sister found a way to drink this tea. Instead of drinking it hot, leave it to cool down or pop it in the fridge. add milk and sugar and it taste like a cinnamon hot chocolate.

when you first open the bag, it smells like apple cider, warm, spicy and sweet.
Once I let it steep, it turned a dark golden brown and intensify in scent but not it flavour. I actually found it to be a really weak tea. You can defiantly taste the black tea but the apple flavour seemed to be more of a aromatic than a flavour note. Next time I’ll try it iced and see if it makes a difference.

I was a little worry about trying this tea at first because I was afraid it would be to light and weak. I’m a big fan of strong and robust chai’s that wake you up.
To prevent it from being weak, I crush the spices with the back of my spoon before steeping it. It opened the cardamom pods and really woke up the flavour.
By crushing the spices, The tea became really flavourful. The cinnamon and cardamon are the first things you smelt and it had spicy floral note while you drink it. I definably recommend drinking it with some evaporated milk to round out the flavour.
