5 Tasting Notes
I love this mug. The double mesh (a top over a basket) keeps every kind of tea I’ve thrown at it in the basket and not in my mouth. This keeps tea/water hot for 5+ hours. It keeps the water so hot that I often need to add cold water or else I burn my mouth with boiling water. The extra storage spot is okay. My tea usually gets a little bit damp but it’s a good as long as I don’t toss the container around. It hasn’t leaked on me yet. I’ve been very happy with this purchase.
I love cardamon and have been trying out several herbals that contain it. This one is okay. It’s not great but it also isn’t bad. You don’t really taste much more than spiciness (from the cloves, cinnamon and peppercorns) with some hints of sweetness. I was hoping for something more lemony but it’ll do.

Preparation
I bought this in my last online order hoping for a nice tisane/herbal cider tea for winter nights. I was greatly disappointed with it. I’m usually fine with artificial flavours but there’s just something wrong with this combination. When you first open the pouch, it smelt of cough syrup. It was a very pungent, fake, sweet smell. Brewing doesn’t help it very much. You taste no apples, nothing cidery, and only a little bit of a fake creamy vanilla. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone and I’m going to try and sip down my 100g by mixing it with other teas.
