4 Tasting Notes
Delicious tea… the first Pu Erh that I had ever tried, I first compared it to the taste of lake water when you fall while water-skiing, but that taste always brings back fond memories so not only is the tea delicious, it always makes me happy when I drink it.
Preparation
My every day drinking tea. The owner of the Ten Ren shop on Eccles Ave. in San Francisco promised me that I would enjoy this tea and he was right. I find it has a cleaner taste than other types of Dragon Well tea that I have tried. Plus, the affordable price of this tea allows it to be a tea that you can enjoy throughout the day.
Preparation
Fantastic white tea, definitely has a stronger almost green tea flavor, but is still a white with all of the added health benefits. The undertone is slightly floral and very slightly nutty. Oversteeping this tea will ruin it. I steep for 30 seconds on the first infusion, 45-1min on the second and then about 2 min on the third. I have continued using the leaves longer than this and just steeped for longer, but it does lose some flavor past three steeps.
