My tea ban on weekends is just.. dude I want tea now uggh.

But I’ve decided to just go ahead and review my teaware!
So I picked these up a couple months ago, for mother since she hates brewing loose leaf at work because it’s just too much of a hassle for her. She works as a nurse at a pediatrics office so a legit pot and kettle is definitely a bit overkill. I had some of the finum tea bags, but she hates how those don’t stay closed. Figured these would be perfect!
So I bought these for her, grabbed about 25 for myself, and I love them so much! I don’t think they really leave a lot of room for the tea to expand, so I usually use them with my herbal/rooibos teas. Which is pretty much perfect cuz I use these on my lazy days for easy clean-up and lazy-me usually comes out in the last hours of the day.
Easy sachets with teas that don’t expand that are caffeine-free. Oh it’s perfect.

Pretty much, I love these and they’re great and I love having them around :)

I love these bags, but switched to cheaper ones I can buy locally instead (but no drawstring!). I use them for the exact same reason, ease of use at work.

Yeah, I had ones like these without the drawstring, but the drawstring is what my mom loves so that’s why I got these for her :)
She uses this every day because of work, but for me, I spend a lot of time at home studying so I don’t necessarily need these, but they’re definitely nice to have!

100-95: Best thing to ever touch my mouth and I want more. Restocking is a must
94-80: Love this tea. Restock if I can
79-70: Decent tea. Neither love nor hate.
69-60: I won’t be upset when it runs out. I’ll drink it but won’t restock.
59-30: I’ve done whatever I can to like this tea and I’ll finish the cup.

I first discovered my love for tea with jasmine teas because that’s all my mother would buy, so for the longest time, I thought that all teas were jasmine! And then in 4th grade, I watched the tea episode of Good Eats and that’s when the education started! I’d like to blame Alton Brown for starting this obsession because now I only like loose leaf tea.
It wasn’t until my second year of college that I actually expanded my tea taste buds. Special shout out to Cara McGee, Tea Queen for her Adagio Fandom blends. Because of Cara, I actually started drinking blacks, herbals and whites and pretty much everything else in between. I still have a special love for my jasmine though :)
I (try to) drink tea daily. Usually just straight up, no sugar or milk. This little obsession started young and just… kept going, I guess.

also I apologize in advance for lazy tasting notes and horrible grammar in everything I write. I was an avid fandom blogger on tumblr and tumblr talk can get in the way of everything kthxbai
