3 Tasting Notes
A sweet, fruity tea that’s whispering sweetly of soft sands and wind tossed waves in a warm climate with sun shining down on you. I made this today as an ice tea that I let steep whilst it cooled, so it was a very strong flavour before mixing it in with more water and ice to drink all day while I was cleaning my house.
It tastes like a pina colda and has that lovely pineapple coconut flavour that I love for the summer. I am working through trying all the new summer teas from Davids Tea, but I’m glad this was the first one I made!
Preparation
I love this tea. When you first smell it, in the tin, you get a strong scent of the chocolate and the chai spices. Warm and inviting, but with a small pinch of spice. Let this steep than add sugar and milk and you have a warming cup of a chai tea with a savory after flavor that doesn’t taste bad. More, like a spicy finish to the hot tea. I also find it feels comforting, like something a grandmother would make for you when you’ve had a rough day. Serving this up with Raisin bread with nutella, is amazing.
