4 Tasting Notes
My preferred blend when I’m sick. It’s not the best I’ve had, but its quite serviceable. It has a nice black tea taste that isn’t overwhelmed by or overwhelming the bergamot. The bergamot is kinda one dimensional but its cheap, easy to find, and I couldn’t get it to brew bitter if I tried. A nice, no brainer tea that I can make and drink, with cream, when I’m knocked out with a cold or flu.
Tried this in-store in Millerton. A delicious black that has a malty and bittersweet chocolate finish. Very nice astringency and strength makes it as interesting and intense on the intake as it is on the aftertaste.
A decent cup on a student budget. Brews robust and stout, takes cream and sugar exceedingly well. Nice wake-me-up tea. Doesn’t have a whole lot of complexity but for the price you can’t beat it. Nice black tea to cook with as well as its strong enough that it won’t get overwhelmed by other flavors. I always have a tin around.
