Well, I gave this one another chance! and I think I’ve finally met a white tea I don’t like. I was afraid this day would come…
Unless it’s simply that the leaves were scorched (quite possible), then this tea really is not great at all. In fact, this is how I imagine a no name, grade C, or even D, BAGGED white tea would taste
Boring. Rough. Bitter. None of these are words I associate with good tea!

What temperature did you brew it at? I know their website says something like 95 degrees, but I wouldn’t trust that. 75 to 80 sounds more reasonable.

I’m not sure! it was from the shop, and they prepare it behind the counter… where they have an 80c and a boiling water tap- they mix the two together.
I always thought 94c for a white was odd but it works for the Whisky White! then again that one isn’t pure…

I agree. That said, I’m not willing to spend more money on purchasing more to find out!
