Eek, I oversteeped! either that or the chicory is just naturally super bitter. Next time I’ll try less in the bag and time in the pot. I added some milk and sugar but it’s still super dark and I can taste the sugar, but the chicory overrides it, by a landslide.
Otherwise, it tastes very similar to coffee! I can taste the vanilla and the almond (very blended, I can’t tell where one begins and the other ends) but the chicory is the main ingredient here. I really need to try this again before giving it a true rating. This one is only temporary!
Nevertheless, I can tell that this is a high quality tea, destined to be loved by many…. and I can most definitely see myself turning to this when I have a serious coffee craving to. Mmmmmm coffee…
(my aging body can’t handle all that caffeine, thus the tea obsession)

Good to know. I’m very anti-coffee in smell and taste, so I avoid anything that’s even remotely like it : )

ah well yes in that case, stay away from this one! I love the stuff but only have decaf every now and then- a poor second choice, it tastes awful compared to the real deal.
(Oh and chicory doesn’t have the same depth as coffee, apparently)
