14 Tasting Notes
It’s definitely fool-proof, because it’s herbal. You can’t burn it easily etc. I sometimes over-steep.. but it’s only by leaving it in there for 10 minutes by accident. It’s pretty easy, it’s creamy, tastes exactly what the name implies. I think there are only two ingredients in this tea, mulberry leaves and macadamia nuts! Which is nice, because you don’t get a bunch of weird flavors in there. (biggest pet peave is something called lime but lemon or orange was used instead of lime in the tea)
Overall a great tea, I get sick of it quite often because I’m a bigger fan of fruity tea’s. Love it when you’re feeling like you need something nutty.
Preparation
I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m a huge fan of mint, huge fan of fruity teas and adore watermelon. I heard that most people predominantly taste the mint. Personally, I definitely think it’s the perfect mix! It’s very nice as a hot tea, I’m sure amazing cold too. I definitely feel like I drink according to the season. Whether the tea is fruity or spicy, summer is for cold teas and the rest of the year is mostly for hot tea (for me).
It’s refreshing as a hot tea because of the cool mint taste, but you also get fruity notes which makes it a refreshing HOT tea. Love it, wish I could still purchase it, I’ve only got about 10g left of this tea but I’d definitely go back for a tin if I could.
Preparation
I mostly taste chamomile and light mint flavors.
Personally, I am not always fan of chamomile, I don’t enjoy the taste whether I have a cold or not. I think I’d rather it, if you tasted more of the mint than the chamomile, but I think in the end I’m just not a fan of those two ingredients mixed together.
Wouldn’t repurchase, I might give away the rest of my 26g.
Preparation
I definitely liked this, it smells extremely similar to the Kokomo Green tea by DavidsTea that they just discontinued. Where Kokomo Green was an extremely delicate green that I could not get away without burning, Green Passionfruit allows the fruit notes to come through without tasting any burnt green tea.
I’d recommend this tea to any of the Kokomo Green fans, or to any fruit lovers. I definitely taste Passionfruit, I drank this hot and made sure not to oversteep. I’ll definitely go back for a tin of this one.
