I can’t get enough of this tea! It seriously goes with everything too. I drank it with breakfast and it’s buttery qualities paired well with my eggs and croissant. I had a second steeping while eating an orange and it brought out the tea’s fruity side. Then I drank a third seeping as I did my core workout this morning. My brother also tried this tea this morning and liked itI may have to get more of this tea soon. :-)

I always make sure I stock up on this one cause I feel the rise of a panic attack whenever my stash gets low!!! LOL

I’m glad this is the one tea I ordered as not part of sampler, so I have more of it !

This was a free sample that came with my Butiki order. (Thanks, Stacy!) My first thought was that it was really sweet for a green tea. Then I started to taste a light, buttery vegetal quality to it. As it cooled even more, I started to feel a cooling sensation almost like it had mint in it, but without a mint taste. I REALLY liked this one! ONWARD FOR A SECOND STEEP! :-)

I love Jasmine and mint so I was excited to try this! At first I just tasted the Jasmine. As I continued to sip it, I felt the cooling sensation of mint, but didn’t really taste. I think the mint mainly supported and enriched the jasmine, making it a dramatic soprano instead of a lyric coloratura. I added a little clover honey in about halfway through and it really helped the mint flavor come out. It still didn’t take center stage, but it’s supporting role became more pronounced. Overall a very refreshing tea!

Lime Chiffon is pleasantly tart, slightly creamy. I don’t really taste much of the roobois. I’ll definitely try this sweetened next time.

I was in the mood for green tea this morning so I got this to go from the store. This definitely has that roasted did-I-make-this-with-water-out-of-the-coffee-maker-? taste. It’s not always my favorite, but this morning it hit the spot. I needed the roasty jolt. It has vegetal undertones, which I love in a great tea. There was also nice, light, buttery aftertaste. Got a little two bitter because I vastly over-steeped. Going to do a second steeping now.

So I tried this with brown sugar and Oh MY! Now I know why the description says that it has hints of caramel because the cooler it got the more I smelled of vanilla and caramel. This is much richer with sugar and I was so sad to reach the bottom of the cup.

Another deliciously smooth tea! I’m really enjoying my Butiki teas! I’ve never had guayasa tea or tamarind so I didn’t really know what to expect. It tasted rich, smooth (nearly creamy), and slightly fruity w/ just the faintest tartness. It left my mouth just slightly dry afterward. I look forward to trying this one sweetened!

I run, I sing, I drink tea. That’s the best description I have of me.

I’ve always enjoyed tea, but have just started trying out a lot more loose teas and varied brands. I’m really excited about a site like steepster so I can read about what people think about different teas.

Oh and I really hate Lipton tea. There’s something just awful about it and I can’t understand why nearly every local diner only has Lipton.

Also I’m on the search for a full-bodied, fruity blackberry tea. So if you have any suggestions feel free to throw them my way! :-)
