3 Tasting Notes
I’ll be honest and say I haven’t tried many other silver needle teas outside of this one, since it’s the only one my local shop carries. But that being said it was a really nice taste and the guys even had a bodum pitcher filled with this tea cold pressed which took it to a whole new level.
Preparation
Rooibos for me more than anything really should fall into a category of “dessert tea”, since Rooibos itself rarely contributes much flavor. And if I were to create a poster child for my “dessert tea” category this would be highly in contention with Rishi’s passionfruit rooibos or Art of Tea’s Chocolate Monkey.
Preparation
I purchased this tea on a whim. Unlike the previous reviewer I didn’t quite understand this blend, yes there are ginger pieces in there but you have to actually chew them to get any ginger flavor out or let it sit for 5 mins to steep the flavor out. I guess I was expecting that they would’ve used actual ground ginger instead. Not bad but not my favorite.
Preparation
They did use actual ground ginger. LiberTEAS only meant that if you bite down on the ginger you increase the flavor- not that if you don’t chew it you wont get any ginger flavor at all. The whole idea of matcha is no steeping (not sure where you got the 5 min). I hate that they suggest 3 min on the package. It’s confusing and wrong- I will definitely be e-mailing them about this.
