With the nights getting a little cooler…Ok it’s more like chillier. I refuse to turn the furnace on unless it get to bone chilling level…

Focus now, lets talk about tea. With fall in the air I have been reaching for more warm things to drink in the evening. Rooibos seems to fit the bill. Being caffeine free I do not have any sleepless nights.

Usually I reach for the flavored Rooibos, but last night I found a sample of Rooibos in my cupboard, decided to give it a try. Boy was I surprized, this is one of my favorites.

When the hot water hit the leaves the aroma was one of a fresh cut hay field. The sweet grassy aroma took me back in time.

The taste was even better, (it didn’t taste like hay) it was sweet and fruity . A pleasure to drink. Tried it without agave first, then later added it to compare. With or without it was still good.

I love chocolate so when I read that this had hints of cocoa, had to try it. Was not disappointed. Adding a bit of Agave only made it better. Makes a great morning brew, starting the day off right.

Tried this tea for the first time and love it. Was looking for a strong morning tea. Something that would stand up to cream. This is the one for me.

This tea is smooth with a bit of bitterness if brewed too strong. Goes with anything from toast and jam to bacon and eggs.

Received this as a sample, wishing I had more. This tea was very warming in a chocolate since. There was a sweetness that added to the pleasure. It was given a very perfect name. It really is a rhapsody on the though

Had this tea for the first time 18 days ago. Brewed some up this morning, still yummy. Then before heading to work I rebrewed the leaves up to 6 times before it looked a little light in color. The best part is that I had some great ice tea for dinner. Better than yummy.

Tried this Assam for the first time about a week ago. Then brewed some this morning. I really like this tea, it has an earthy caramal note that I love. Although oolong is my favorite, I think I will have to add this as one of my favorites.

Last Day of April and it still feels cold this morning. Promises to get up to 60 today, but cloudy. Felt I needed a strong pick-me-up. Pulled out the O’Sullivan’s and brewed up some. I think I"m going to make it through now. I can always count on this brew to do just that. It’s a staple in my tea cupboard.

Know as the Five Color Tea. First time I had this tea tea was at tea tasting at the the Tea Haus in Ann Arbor. Love it then still do now. A slight woodsy taste with fruity undertones. This is even after brewing several times.
