4 Tasting Notes
I received this tea as a free sample from an online purchase, though I wish I had chosen another one. I was expecting to taste a lemonade kick, but was met with what tasted like lemon rinds in water. Underwhelming from the first sip to the last.
Flavors: Citrus, Medicinal, Sage
Since this is listed as a green tea on the site, I was expecting the liquor to be that signature color, and was surprised to find it looking more like a white tea would, not to mention I couldn’t find much green tea leaves in the bag. I can see the matcha however, and taste it very slightly, though after steeping it settled to the bottom of my teacup. All that picky stuff aside, this is a wonderful tea. The scent of the leaves is sweet, creamy, and highly reminiscent of eggnog. The taste is not much different. If you don’t like your tea too heavily sweet, you won’t find an issue with this one. Some dessert teas make you feel like you’ve just dumped a tablespoon of sugar in your mouth, but this is not one of those. Needs no sweetener either :]
Flavors: Cardamom, Cloves, Cookie, Cream, Custard, Eggnog, Graham Cracker, Honeysuckle, Milk, Nutmeg, Vanilla

I save this one for cold mornings and watching mafia movies at night. It’s richly full-bodied and delicately sweet all the same. Seriously one of my favorite teas, although I docked it down 5 points because without milk and sugar I personally find it a tad bitter and acidic tasting. Amazing for dipping tea snacks in like stroopwaffles or cookies!
Flavors: Burnt Sugar, Butterscotch, Caramel, Cloves, Cocoa, Coffee, Dark Bittersweet, Smooth, Vanilla
Preparation
When I first picked this tea up in a charming little basement tea shop, I was absolutely HOOKED on just the smell of it. Though the tea does contain rosehips, this is not present in the scent. It’s aroma is sweet, fruity, and enticing; no hints of floral. However, if you’re not one for sour teas, this might not be your cuppa. The taste of this fuchsia colored tea is close to being dominated by hibiscus flavors, but the sweet strawberry still does pull through nice and evenly. Overall, this is a good balance of flavors, but the smell is deceiving.
Flavors: Biting, Cranberry, Fruit Punch, Fruity, Hibiscus, Raspberry
