It's Time! !2 Teas of Christmas Poll Time!

Hello, Everyone!

Yes, it’s that time of year again – I need to create a poll & I need to do that – like – YESTERDAY! LoL

Anyway, I plan on creating the poll in the next week or so, but I would LOVE to get your input! What teas would you like to see in this upcoming 12 Teas of Christmas box?

Thanks in advance for your responses – and of course, thank you for your support!

Update: I want to thank everyone who responded to this thread – thank you for taking the time to respond. I got a TON of responses to my email that I sent out about the same time as I posted this thread. I will give the responses just a couple more days & compiling the results into a poll to be posted either on Sunday or Monday – so if you want to get your favorite teas included in the poll, PLEASE respond now! LAST CHANCE! Thanks!

Thank you!

Great ideas there, Ros! And I luv the idea of finishing with a pomegranate-pear in a partridge tree!

@teaearlegreyhot Definitely not my ideas! This is Anne’s yearly post asking which 52Teas blends customers would like to see brought back as part of the countdown, so all of these are existing blends developed by Anne or the previous 52Teas owner Frank.

I would love to see an entirely herbal or herbal and decaf option.

In particular:
White Chocolate Grasshopper Honeybush
Maple Baked Pears Honeybush
Champagne and Strawberries
Lemonberry Whip Green Rooibos
Earl Pink
Peach Cheesecake Honeybush
Blueberry Streusel Honeybush
Cozy Cuppa Honeybush
Spiced Cranberry Oatmeal Cookie
Chocolate, Hazelnut, & Strawberry Honeybush
Buttered Cranberry Orange Scone Honeybush
Figgy Gingerbread Honeybush

Thank you for your reply! Do you mean an entire herbal/caffeine-free box?

Yes, I don’t know if the logistics of that would be practical on your end, but I rarely buy caffeinated tea these days, so I would love to see more caffeine free options for special sales like this.

Unfortunately, yeah, it wouldn’t work for me to have 2 different 12 Teas of Christmas boxes. :( I blend these all by hand, and crafting 12 teas for the holiday box, plus do my usual work of 5 new teas every month is a lot of work as it is, but trying to do 24 blends plus my usual work would be an impossible task.

Unfortunate for me, but completely understandable!

It’s understandable that 24 teas is not doable, but man would that ever be amazing.

I am reminded of tangerine, at that time of year, as in the citrus found at the toe of a stocking, so, perhaps an orange spice ceylon, akin to the classic Constant Comment (orange-forward, easy on the cinnamon)? Also my family had a tradition of nuts… walnuts, chestnut, hazelnuts, etc. So I’m not necessarily thinking of a hazelnut black, pleasing as it may be to some folks, but rather a mocha-frangelico-puer type tea, and a caramel-black walnut-cream keemun. Maybe even a double-chestnut-dragonwell green, that enhances the natural chestnut of a long jing. And let’s not overlook a pecan-praline-white tea! Does anyone still bake fruitcakes? A fruitcake-mountain-oolong could be fun, though at the risk of it ending as a permanent resident and epitome of a TTB. ha! Kids like candycanes… how about a candycane matcha? Even grownups might enjoy that!

Just, I beg of thee, please no pumpkin spice!

Postscript— I’ve been informed that 52Teas intends to make available existing catalog entries, whereas I was just creatively inventing blends without benefit of knowing what 52T offers. Perhaps my suggestions could be approximated by stuff on-hand. Otherwise, consider them requests for the future! Cheers!

Hi! My box usually consists of 12 teas (12 Teas of Christmas) & I usually reblend 8 existing blends that are requested by the customers as well as 4 brand new seasonal blends.

I love all your ideas, I don’t generally dabble in Matcha. My one exception is that occasionally, I’ll sift some Matcha over genmaicha blends. I figure there are a few companies out there that are better equipped to create flavored Matcha & since I’m a small operation, I’ll leave it to those that are equipped to do so. :) I do love the idea of candy cane matcha though! YUM!

Here I am yet again, suggesting…

Peachy Keen!
Berried Treasure!

How about also:
Coconut Banana Cream Pie Hojicha
LiberTEAS Tomato, Basil, & Black Pepper
Peaches and Cream Genmaicha
Cranberry Salad Green
Strawberry Pie Honeybush

and I swear most of the white blends have been favorites, so it is very hard not to suggest those every year (especially Warm Maple Cream!)

Berried Treasure almost won last year! It was thisclose! I will add it to the poll & maybe it will win this year!

The other options look great & I’ll add them to the poll! Thanks for your response!
