This tea was a pleasant surprise for me. I figured by the name that I’d either love it or hate it. Turns out that it is fantastic. It has a spa-water type of feel to it. The cucumber is present, as is the honeydew. Oddly enough though, and maybe because it is so refreshing, I do get the same feel as mint.
Iced with a splash of milk, it is reminiscent of Mint Julep.
How the story goes is that one day, a feeble, weakened graduate student decided to stop ingesting so much caffeine and additives (sugar, cream, milk) and instead headed for the land of tea.
I should probably mention that I’ve been drinking tea… pretty much since I can remember. The beauty of growing up in a still-semi-Euro family! I was introduced to green teas and pu’erhs by herbalists and acupuncturists in my teens.
