Another one of the teas that Azzrian sent my way! Thanks so much!
It doesn’t appear to have very much Hibiscus in it – so that’s a start!
I can smell both the lemon and the mango post infusion.
Upon my first sip I found this to be pretty nice. The lemon is not puckery or overly tart or sour. The Mango gives it that very little bit of tropical assist with the lemon. It seems the little bit of hibiscus used in this Herbal offering works well with the other ingredients…perhaps, more-so, the apple to de-pucker the lemon a bit. It’s very soothing and flows nicely from start to finish. I’m drinking this hot but assume it would be just as good if not better iced!
Thanks for this one Azzrian!
This is the very first of Tea & Bloom TEAS I have ever had!
I remember nearly 3 years ago my first encounter with Adagio’s White Tropics. I remember the aroma being really harsh! Makin’ the ole nose-hairs dance type harsh! BUT…the taste wasn’t awful…I think I rated it in the lower 70s or so…but I also remember being in the minority of people who thought it was alright. Oh well!
I will say this is MUCH MUCH BETTER!!!!
It doesn’t have that harsh smell I remember from the Adagio take on it. Thank the Tea gods! It does smell like mellower type of pina colada – I can smell and taste the coconut, rose, and pineapple. It’s relaxing and islandy.
Above all else I can taste the mouth-watering white tea! It’s sweet and airy. Paired with the fruity and floral notes – it’s a neat white tea offering and sure beats the other brand! Nice job!
I love the idea of a lightly minty tea followed by the smooth taste of vanilla. This tea has that, almost like a piece of gum. You can taste the Mate, although it’s not as strong as in some other teas. It tastes good, but itsn’t one of my favourites because of the Mate.
This is absolutely my favourite tea. I’m not sure exactly which berry comes out at the front. The berry flavour is certainly there and comes out ahead of the white tea. It’s slightly sweet yet slightly tart from the berries. I find icing this tea completely changes the flavour into something I’m not too fond of.
This was the very first loose leaf chai I had tasted and originally I loved it. Now after trying a few I realize there are better (for me) chais out there. This chai definetly delivers on the spice, oh so much spice, especially ginger (which I am not crazy about). Overall a great chai. I’ve just discovered I prefer my chais with a little something more.
There isn’t much of a licorice taste to this tea, but somehow everything still works together to create a delicious blend. A slightly sweet taste add to the spices in this tea. Similar to a chai, but without the caffeine in black tea. The rooibos isn’t very noticeable which is great for me (not a big fan of rooibos).
Preparation
Probably the best fruit infusion/tisane I have had from anywhere. You get the nice tart strawberry taste of a not quite ripe strawberry, followed by the deliciously sweet taste or a ripe strawberry. So much YUM!
Can’t wait to try this mixed with lemonade
This was another from Tattooed_Tea in my Summer Iced Tea Swap that DiasyChubb organized! :)
Ohh yum, this one sounds so refreshing as an iced tea
