I always seem to be drawn back to this tea almost on a daily basis.
Why? you ask.
1. It is a simple tea, good for two great infusions.
2. I don’t have to add anything to enjoy the taste of the tea.
3. I really like the crispness of the blood orange peels.
4. It tastes good hot or cold, so it is good to carry with me to school:)
5. It is the prettiest tea in my cupboard and the smell in the tin is addicting.
Preparation
I made a pot of this tea earlier in the week and last night and today. The smoothness of this tea is refreshing. Once upon a time ago, I wrote a review of this tea on It’s all about the leaf…I reread that review last night and I still feel exactly the same way toward this tea. I will include the link here just in case you are curious:)

Preparation
Made this tea today in my IngeniTea…as I was brewing, I had the brilliant idea to carry the teapot with me to work today so I could reinfuse those leaves later in the day. Perfect, and because it is plastic, I was confident in carrying it around. Easy to clean at the end of the day. This tea had become one of my staples in my cupboard. No need for additives, it is perfect in every way. Not bitter, smooth with hints of orange make this tea very refreshing:)
Preparation
Third times a charm! This is the third tea of the day and the only one that has tasted good to me! I have purposely not been choosing this one because my sample is dangerously low..BUT OMG, WOW I am so glad I brewed this up today. Smooth Ceylon with blood orange pieces…yummy in my tummy:)
Preparation
This is really pretty tea. The dry leaves are black and wiry, the orange and goldenrod shavings are mingled throughout. The smell is incredible! Citrus notes fill your senses. The brewed tea is equally as good as the smell. Smooth tea from Sri Lanka, no bitterness and very little astringency. The citrus notes are balanced with the black tea. No need for milk or sugar as the tea is perfect alone. Follow the advice on the bag…just add water & enjoy:)
Preparation
Smells toasty and vegetal.
I can taste the hazelnut comparison and it is very earthy tasting as well.
This is pretty good.
