My second tea that I’ve tried from Davids Tea and my second great review. This is the first Korean tea I have had. Japanese greens are my favorite and I thought that this was similar. It had the same seaweed, grassy taste but it was a little milder than say a Sencha. Overall very good.

I have to say, I was little skeptical about this at first, but it has wildly exceeded my expectations. When I first noticed it sitting on the shelf at DavidsTea I was very curious. In my head I was envisioning a sweet, artificial, and overpowering banana flavor. Still I decided to buy a sample.

When I finally tasted, I realized that it was just abou the complete opposite of what I had pictured. The banana flavor was surprisingly subtle and did overpower the oolong. In fact you may not even recognize it as banana if you didn’t already know. The two flavors are perfectly balanced.

I bought a whole bunch of this tea because it was on sale. So far I think it is just ok. I personally like the japanese greens more.

When I first tried it I was unsure of it. It was definitely different from anything I had tasted before and from what I was expecting. But after perfecting the steeping process itis now my new favorite tea. I am somewhat partial to Japanese greens anyway, but this one wins so far. I love the sweetness and what I am assuming is the umani, although my taste buds aren’t refined enough to know for sure. They work perfectly together. I also love the color of this tea. This tea pleases all senses.
