TeaTiff: Baozhongs are lower elevation oolongs from Taiwan, usually only oxidized about 8%. they’re typically from either the Pinglin or Wenshan regions of Taiwan, though it could be anywhere. I enjoyed a wenshan baozhong from Beautiful Taiwan Teas, though I’m not sure if it’s the same one as on their website. Floating Leaves is known for their high quality Baozhong selection also.
That’s the reason I like Butiki’s Flowery Pineapple Oolong so much!
I have never noticed this one on the web site before. Is this more of a green high mountain oolong?

Thanks, apt. I didn’t know either. I just know it’s tasty and I like it. :)
Thanks apt for the great response. I have been putting together an order to Butiki for a long time. This might just have to go in to try.
