I liked this tea. I just wish there was a little more heat. There is no ginger “bite” at all, but it is pleasant enough.

If you like grassy or astringent green tea, this one won’t appeal to you. Since I don’t, I loved it! I will get a quantity of this one.

I got a generous sample of this tea when I ordered the Chestnut black tea from Adagio. I think that I like this one even more, although I think that I think that I steeped the Chestnut incorrectly.

I had been warned to give this tea a really short steep. I was certain that I only steeped it for 3 minutes, but it still had a slightly bitter note. I will try 2.5 mins. the next time. The tea is really nice sweet and fullbodied.

This was a tea of the day down at my local David’s Tea shop today. Piping hot, it tasted smooth and sweet, with a bit of sour at the finish. But as it cooled off, it tasted more like baby aspirin or Tang. I don’t think I’ll get it again.

My weekly trip downtown to David’s Tea resulted in a cup of Pure Chai. I drink a lot of cinnamon flavored teas, but this one is different; it is savory not sweet. It is also a chai without cardamom which is a nice change since cardamom is not my favorite flavor and in some chai teas it is overpowering. This was a nice change.

Flavors: Cinnamon, Cloves, Nutmeg

Perfect tea to sip while wrapping gifts. Tastes like tea with a candy cane swizzle stick.

Flavors: Peppermint

Okay, so today was my weekly outing to David’s Tea near my office to try something new. I feel that my palate has gotten more refined, and I have been getting adventurous lately in trying plain teas. So, I had my first cup of pu-erh ever. My first impression was that it smelled like buttcrack. It didn’t taste bad, but I couldn’t get by my initial impression.

This tea is for more than just tummy trouble. Today I have a slight sore throat and just wasn’t feeling like having any of my usual teas. I saw that I had this on the back of the shelf, and it is doing the trick today.

Flavors: Fennel, Peppermint

Formerly exclusively a coffee drinker—-plain black. But I’ve turned over a new leaf, and now consume tea in the afternoons and evenings. And I love flavored, interesting teas—but I get bored with them quickly, and so need lots to switch around.
