This decaf review skewed this down horribly. It’s quite malty. I think I read somewhere it’s all India- sourced. Not bitter like a couple I’ve had.
I should say I’m no IBT rookie; I think this is the 18th IBT I’ve had and it’s at least top ten. I’d rate it 87 or so, with potential to rise, based on a single cup.
It lacks the virtual perfection of Taylor’s of Harrogate or the ultra-expensive Adagio, but for the very reasonable price, it’s very good indeed.
If I liked to drink other than Irish Breakfast Teas, I’d try some of Wegmann’s other teas!
