17 Tasting Notes
This was my first yellow tea and I really loved it. I usually blend this with green teas to get that extra buttery taste, but on it’s own it has an almost soba-butteriness to it. I drink a lot of it at work and will be sad when it leaves.
Flavors: Butter, Earth, Mineral
Preparation
One of my favorite green teas. It’s lite and sweet and has a very simple misty taste. It really does taste like a misty morning on a high mountain. If you’re not a fan of the more vegital and earthy green teas this one would be good to try.
Flavors: Mineral, Plants
Preparation
What can I say? I love this tea. However, there is a bit of a processed after taste. I’m not sure how else to describe it. It tastes so good at first, but then this plastic-like after taste hits you. It’s usually why I don’t like fruity teas from Teavana. However, the initial taste is wonderful. Lite, fresh, and a bit sweet-spicey. It’s best when it’s cold and mixed with sugar. Especially for those feeling the heat wave.
Preparation
One of the better tasting black teas from Teavana. Nice rich nutty flavor, a bit fig-newton smelling, and a hint of chocolate in the after taste. Tastes awesome with creme and sugar and yet does well by itself. I would drink this as an afternoon tea for its pick-me-up and for its welcoming flavor. Goes well with scones and tea biscuits.
