Thank you for the sample Ninas Paris!
This was very aromatic. Strawberries and vanilla were the main flavors. Very smooth and has a really great base tea. I would love to have this one in my cupboard!

I guess this one has been lingering, forgotten in my cupboard for the past few months. I got it while I was trying to avoid caffeinated teas. This is pretty decent for a grocery store tea I guess. It reminds me a lot of the Cha Yen Thai from Teavana (but cheaper!). It would actually be a good, cheap substitute for this imo.

I hate this tea.
I don’t know if I’ve ever had a tea this terrible before. I cannot even bring myself to take more than a few sips. It just tastes weird. Sweet, kind of bitter, and has this sharp odd flavor I can’t pinpoint. I don’t know what to do with the rest of this box, but the trashcan is looking a bit inviting.

I’m just sad because I was so excited to try this! I’ve only had one other Yogi tea that I didn’t really care for. But it sure wasn’t unpalatable!

I’m so glad my tea samples arrived today! I thought they had been eaten by the post.
The bag this came in did not have a suggested temp. on it, so I just went with boiling water.
Dry, this smells very nice! I can smell the violet, which is the biggest reason I chose this one. Once brewed the base is very tasty, it reminds me of another gift tea which I have logged on here somewhere. The violet is very upfront. There are other flavors too that I cannot put my finger on, probably the rhubarb (I’ve never had it!). This is a really great dessert tea and I can’t wait to brew this again.

I’ve come to really love this tea. It really helps calm my stomach when it’s feeling upset. This is, as I’ve said, a no-nonsense tea. All the flavors are very sharp and in your face, especially the lemon balm. But there are also notes of black tea, nuts, and chocolate competing for the spotlight. I would definitely buy this again.

sipdown! The tea-cupboard cleaning has been a hit so far and today I plan on working with my samples. I am planning on doing a handful of steeps with this one.
I love the color of the liquor; light olive tan.
The main flavors have been chocolate and barley notes. Feels quite thick on the tongue, but smooth and not bitter at all. This is one of my very favorite plain black teas. Perfect for getting that caffeine boost for drawing.

I’ve always been iffy about this one. The flavors are very strong, but aren’t really what I was looking for. The carrot/apple in this is very up front; which was always pretty surprising. I like this one much more cold than warm because it tones it down just a bit.

The notion of vegetables in tea intrigues me. I need to hunt some of this down.

I was really surprised how evident it was in the flavor. It may have to do with my steeping parameters. Other people I read didn’t notice it quite so much.

I only had one of these left and I will be steeping it quite a few times so I can get the most out of it.
This tea is very light, but the pineapple is really great. The greatest disappointment with these were that the amount of flavoring seemed really spotty. I had a few that were very intense and others that felt flat. I think that because of this I would never buy the blooming teas at full price. If you find them on sale though, I would suggest at least trying one of Teavana’s flavors just for novelty.

I am really sad to be out of this one. It has always reminded me drinking a cookie. I liked this one because it was so uncomplicated. I can’t believe that it lasted so long in my cupboard. But I do plan on ordering this one again at some time in the future because it is (a) so tasty and (b) such a good deal. The tins on the 2012 zodiac set are so beautiful and the perfect size for keeping my art supplies in. The cost is so minimal for them too.

I am making an effort to clean out my tea cupboard, as it has just become a mess. I am trying to drink the ones with little left in them first.
Onto the tea! This has been in my cupboard for a long time because it really isn’t my favorite blend. The rooibos in this mix really isn’t my favorite. But it is pretty good for an herbal and you do get a lot of it. So I’m a bit torn to say the least. If you enjoy grapefruit and rooibos, then this would be a great blend for you!
