9 Tasting Notes
First of all I would like to thank Canton tea for this free sample.
I have steeped this one in my gaiwan 3mins 175F.
I have done 6 infusion atm.
The color is a pale yellow in all the infusions I have done.
The fragrance is really floral, especially in later steepings.
The taste is creamy at the beginning with notes of raw sugar and vanilla, and ends with floral essence.
The aftertaste is really persistent; but I didn’t like it very much.
I don’t think it is so light and delicate as some are saying.
In conclusion I think it is a nice tea, but there are a lot more I prefer; especially for the aftertaste.
Preparation
This is really a great sheng.
All the infusions I have done are fantastic.
In particular I remember the first: this one remember me of winter time; in fact it smells like the smoke of the fireplace.
The second infusion is totally different: this one remember me of summer time; in fact it taste like melon.
Preparation
This is awesome.
The smell of the leafs before steeping is amazing.
The second infusion is the one I like more; the most balanced one. I’ll review it.
The color is quite limpid with emerald green shades.
The smell is full of floral notes; but it is not aggressive.
It tastes gentle with floral and some spicy notes in the end.
The persistence is really long. This oolong will leave your mouth with a really soft aroma and you will not want to drink (or eat) anything for at least an hour.
In conclusion this is my favorite oolong; and one of the few that I would replace with water.
Preparation
First of all i need to say that this is my first white tea.
The Color of the tea is a pale yellow, I really like it.
The smell is really sweet, both before and after brewing; I think it is the best quality of this tea.
The taste starts really creamy, and ends smooth, leaving the mouth with a wonderful aftertaste.
In conclusion this is one of the best tea I have ever tasted.
