It’s more sweet, but then, I tend to add sweetener. The sage just adds a bit of something that makes the whole thing come together. So much better than just straight blackberry somehow.
This past week’s Tea of the Week is also a Blackberry Sage tea – Yunnan grown Teas (A golden Yunnan & an Assamica grown in Yunnan Province) with blackberries and white sage. It’s really good. I don’t have it yet available for sale because I need more pouches . . . but it will be on the website later this coming week.
I never would have thought to combine blackberry and sage! Is it savory?
