For a bagged tea this isn’t half bad! The vanilla isn’t overpowering and blends well enough with the nut flavour. I picked this and another up, because until I get around to picking up another brew basket, loose tea is too much of a pain in the ass to deal with at work.

I picked this up on my trip to san francisco. I’m still in search of my perfect chai. I don’t think I’ve ever seen orange peel in any of the chai’s that i’ve tried before, so I thought it might be an interesting twist. The dry scent of this is cloves and an understone of citrus. Once brewed however, this has a really nice taste. The orange brings out the spices nicely without turning this into a “fruity” tea. As usual, I’m drinking this straight. Not a bad Chai…I think I still prefer Verdant’s chai but this is a good blend.

Still enjoying this matcha in smoothie format. Blended up another this morning – frozen banana, few cubes of frozen mango, milk, ice and matcha! I really like the way that this smoothie tastes the blend of mango and milk is really nice.

So as I suspected, this is a brilliant cold brewed tea! Where it’s a nice tangy hot tea, it’s a fantastic cold tea! Tethered a nice berry taste, there’s a bit of tang and the colour is wonderful :) I don’t drink a lot of cold tea in winter but this is likely something to go on my shopping list for summer! Let me just start by saying that If there’s anyone out there who bought this and doesn’t love it/want it – you just send it my way!
This tea has totally grown on me and now I’m dreading the thought that it will be gone soon. I would love to see this as a permanent tea with frank, though I suspect that is a long shot. Ah well, at least I can enjoy it while i have it.

This mornings creation? Black Cherry Cheesecake Matcha Smoothie. I think tomorrow I’ll try black cherry caramel :) In any case this is delicious! I think the blackcherry is becoming my 3rd favourite matcha…maybe

So I totally made a quick cold matcha blend tonight for after work out. Mocha, caramel and coffee! Blended it with milk and some ice. It’s actually pretty darn good :)

Mmmmm i really like this! I haven’t had many (if any) Keemun’s so I opted to pick this up while I was in San Francisco. It has a really interesting taste. It’s a strong tea with a smokey chocolatey taste that hangs out in the background. I brewed this western style for what it’s worth :) Looking forward to trying out the other teas I picked up in San Fran, though i have a few more samples to sip down first heh
