15952 Tasting Notes
wheeeeee! Moar tea! I’m not too sure why I’m so happy today but it’s a good day. One more day to prepare for my client meeting on friday and then it’s the weekend! Which of course will be full of testing and other work related things but it’ll be the weekend! And I can get groceries and spend the rest of the weekend drinking tea at home while i work.
Maybe if i get lucky I can get in one of the games we picked up in the pas 2 weeks that I haven’t had a chance to open yet sigh
WHEEEEEEE!!!!!!! It’s tea day! not like any day ISN’T tea day but today just seems like more than usual. Also, my last note was my 300th tasting note so that’s super exciting. Not nearly as many as everyone else around here but in my head I’m really at 600 since I’ll do one tasting note for 3 cups of th same tea heh.
Anyway still loving this matcha and still REALLY enjoying my morning smoothies. Going to miss having one Friday morning…might have to actually have COFFEE to keep my awake during my all day client visit blech

Cold Brew! wheee! So i have not one…not two but FIVE travel type mug things of tea on my desk at the moment. It’s great! Cold brewed this one last night to see how I like it. Only downside? It needs a bit of sweetner as a cold brew so i’ll have to go “borrow” some honey or something from downstairs to finish it off. Good times though, having fun cold brewing things :)
Cod brewed this for fun. Tastes about the same as hot brewed. Overall, not a favourite of mine but I don’t hate it :) just having fun cold brewing things lately.
Sipdown! YAY mostly because my Verdant order arrived today and I still have an incoming Butiki Order. So at least that’s one more tea package that I can say is gone…though there will likely be a re-order of this one in the future lol. As always really enjoying the delicate raspbery/chocolate balance stacy managed to achieve here. so tasty! Really looking forward to how she manages to craft the new blend from whomever wins the contest!
How do you drink teas down so fast?! I can never get through them :/
I guess 3 months is fast lol. I focus on things when they get close to the bottom. Right now I have 10? That I’m focusing on ish…. So I try to have at least 1 a day of that smaller group. Tough keep in mind my ONE entry is equivalent to 2-3 cups. I fill travels mugs full of things heh.
She just doesn’t have as much tea as us. :P I wish my stash was more organized so I could take a pic of it so people could see how overboard I’ve gone… hahahahahahahaha.
I just have more self control :p
soon as I get a few days off, at home, I am sorting through my stash and posting it! it’s odd, I have so many teas and yet I’ve only made a few orders…
in the meantime, I can only handle two at a time. People at my office just don’t understand! bah!
though currently I am drinking a big pitcher and tea from two mugs. plus my water :P
uh.. i have a water bottle… a cold brew in the glass tumbler, two travel mugs with different tea and my matcha smoothie bottle lol
Oh yeah BABY! Frank reblended this so now I can drink the stash I have in my cuboard instead of hoarding it. I bought 2 bags (first time ever for me) of this so that I’ll have lots to have around for a while. There’s just something about this blend that I love more than ANYof the other cheesecale blends that he’s had. It’s MUCH better than the caramel Cheesecake he did. oh happy day!!
I just noticed several re-blends on the site. I am holding out until he puts up the new blend before buying. However fearing I may miss out entirly on those I want!
hehe I ordered two bags as soon as I was told :D facebook is useful for that :D

I don’t know what you’re talking about Helena lol and yeah. I’d rather pay an extra buck and make sure i get the few that i wanted, than wait for the reblend to package it all up. heh

First cup of the morning! Once again thanks to the Tea Merchant for their generous sample! This is a nice cup for the morning. I was inspired by a comment made by kittena yesterday so I actually have a smoothie in a water bottle and two tea mugs full of tea lol. YAY for drinking it up in the morning! Especially nice since it’s a cool (but still nice) wet, rainy dark morning here in toronto.
This assam has a toasty warm flavourful taste this morning. A bit like a warm hug on a cold day, cuddled under the blankets listening to the rain patter on the windows.
Operation Sipdown is in full effect! I’m trying to get through as many of the teas that I can before December hits, as I forsee christmas tea purchases in my future. I’ve managed to sort through my cupboard this weekend and now I have a pile of teas that are older or close to being finished that I can work on over the next few weeks :)
I still enjoy this tea as an every day sort of tea. It’s got a bit of flavoring without being overpowering so I won’t get tired of it.
I did a «clean up» myself this summer, or so I thought! For some strange reasons, I forgot that clean ups work only if you don’t order new stuff a zillion times after you did it! Now I’m back to square one, damn it!
Oh i’ve got three incoming orders plus the travelling tea box and a christmas swap! haha BUT at least i have a good idea of what I need to drink first…
